孫堅夫人吳氏，孕而夢月入懷。Sun Jian’s wife of the Wu clan gave birth and dreamed that the moon entered her arms.
已而生策。Already she had given birth to Ce.
及權在孕，又夢日入懷。Then when Quan was born, she again dreamed of the sun entering her arms.
以告堅曰：「妾昔懷策，夢月入懷；今又夢日，何也？」She took this and said to Jian: “Your concubine has formerly carried Ce, and the moon entered my arms, so why is it now that the sun enters my arms?”
堅曰：「日月者，陰陽之精，極貴之象，吾子孫其興乎。」Jian said: “The Sun and the Moon are the essence of Dark and Light; the utmost portentous and precious signs; our descendants will prosper!
